Arie des Arbace aus der Oper ”Artaserse”

Arno Argos Raunig – Sopranist
Paul Weigold - klavier (piano)

Produced by Viktoriia Kudricheva
Farinelli Company
Venezia, Italy, 2019

Evviva Farinelli! Evviva Venezia! Evviva Carnevale!

Evviva Farinelli! Evviva Venezia! Evviva Carnevale!
At the invitation and initiative of my Italian friends, we filmed a video as a declaration of love to the lagoon city and Carlo Broschi for my new CD "Farinelli vs Händel" in Venice - the dream destination of many romantics. Farinelli, the Baroque superstar who had been celebrating many years in the Carnival of Venice and sang this aria from Hasse's opera Artaserse there.
The Serenissima - colorful, mysterious, lively and even mystical - as the miracle voice of the castrato Carlo Broschi named Farinelli!
